Fibrinogen Elevation

April 20th, 2010

(±2004) Hey Garry,
I have an 86-year-old gentleman with cerebrovascular disease, mild Parkinson’s, poorly controlled type II diabetes, and renal insufficiency, who has responded dramatically to IV Glutathione, targeted antioxidants, and reduction in his medication regimen. He is also now doing oral and IV physician-supervised heavy metal detox with EDTA. He is on 20+ supplements, including many from Longevity Plus (Endozym, EDD, RM-10, Immunity-2, Wobenzym,) and he has done a series of H2O2 infusions. However, his fibrinogen has gone from 387 to 640 and his CRP shot up to 19 (the CRP went up before he was put on your regimen above). His eosinophil count also went up recently. What do you think is causing the elevated fibrinogen levels, and how can we get this down? My guess is the poorly controlled diabetes is at least in part responsible. Thanks again for your help.

The fibrinogen MUST rise with any rise of C-reactive protein levels and the fact is that he is still on fire! H202 will not always work if he has imbalances in redox and ph.

See if his saliva ph is 5, if so, let’s go to alkalinize so that all the things you are doing can work better.

With that fibrinogen level he is almost a Coumadin candidate so even though 15 a day Endozym might be enough, I want him on 3 EDD with meals AND Nattokinase, 2 caps tid!

Then I want to really learn from Hugh Riordan, MD at ACAM last weekend on Cancer and inflammation and start lots of 60=100 or 200 gm IV’s of IV Vitamin C. You can get tapes from PAR (800-430-4par) and listen carefully to workshop and main lecture.

Add tons of my Beyond C in between the IV’s, as we must put out the fire. Preferably taken in Penta water (Found at Whole Foods, Wild Oats or San Diego, Biohydration Research, $36 for 24 bottles) two a day and plan on at least 4-6 tsp daily of my Beyond C WITH your IV’s, up to 60 gm in 90 minutes if tolerated, then perhaps another 15 gm per hour for another 6 hours. This is quite a trick for Hep C, Hep B, and cancer and should move this the right way.

But, so that he does not need too many IV’s, let’s add my FYI up to 12 a day, like 4 tid away from meals, WITH the Endozym as the cats claw etc here with the Bioperine found ONLY in Beyond C works LIKE CORTISONE with no side effects to put out fires.

If that is not getting it let’s talk on phone and go into diet, bowel (Inuflora, primal defense) and more anabolic with my Beyond GHS at HS and further alkalinize with perfect food twice daily.
Increase omega 3- go to 3000 mg twice daily of maximum strength. Longevity Plus will within this month. Let him purchase from www.icelandhealth.com for the maximum strength omega 3. Use 3 bid with meal and 2 tsp of fresh ground flax mixed twice daily in the drink with my Vitamin C (Beyond C) and the perfect food.

He gets some omega 3 AND GLA if he is on Beyond Chelation twice daily and, of course, the multiple in my Beyond Chelation has the magic of all the trace elements of the great salt lake, – like cesium and rubidium, to further alkalinize. You did not mention that he was getting my packet of 9 pills twice daily, THAT is the foundation for everything I do!! There are many reasons, like the 600 units of vitamin d and the alkalinizing minerals in the multiple, which is sold separately as longevity plus multiple, 6 a day, if for some reason we do not use the packets. But, the packets have the gingko and the EFA’s and the phosphatidyl serine, he needs all of the BC ingredients,

Good luck,

Sincerely,
Garry F. Gordon, MD,DO,MD(H)

NOTE: I love to help my colleagues work on complex cases. I, therefore, reduce my normal consultation fee by 50% if you are willing to stay on the phone while we discuss your problem patient’s case. I prefer to also have them on the phone, which we can do today easily from here with three way calling, since they are paying for a second opinion and/or consultation. I like to review any lab tests and records that can be faxed for these consultations, which can be made by appointment through my assistant at 928-472-4263. I always send a tape of the entire consultation to the doctor or the patient as directed since there are so many new things that I will mention during a consultation, it is important to have this tape so the patient can review it if they desire.
