Edd Dose for Challenge Test
(±2004) I am going to do the challenge test using EDD. What was the protocol for that again? How many a day and for how many days before the IV Ca EDTA challenge?
First, review my website for INFORMED CONSENT and protocols; use the search feature on the main page and type in what you want to find.
There are, however, NEW ideas on it with provocation protocols coming out daily! Some use different approaches and we now find that IF they are on the EDD, even for MONTHS, that somehow for chelation doctors, tons more come out the MORE of my tricks you do.
It just gets better and better as the easy stuff is moved out with oral EDD leaving the tougher stuff for the pushes.
Dr. Shelton likes the HEEL oral DETOX kit, three bottles, a great adjunct now PROVEN to further expedite heavy metal excretion!
Then, some will use 500 mg of oral DMSA from a compounding pharmacy or Thorne labs for 2 days BEFORE the push and up to 1000 mg of oral DMSA the AM of the push. They also take 5 EDD on arising the AM of push and 5 again 2-4 hours later and 5 more on entering the clinic to get the push.
Many are convinced to add at least 600 mg Alpha Lipoic Acid, 200 mg of our Thiogel (water and fat soluble) tid and take all three caps the day of the push.
Some will add a SMALL amount of DMPS (like 50 mg) to the IV and the push. Some give with Magnesium over 10 minutes in a mini-bottle of up to 100cc of diluents. Some use oral DMPS (and even a new transdermal is being developed) the AM of the IV push and some will use Penicillamine orally in place of DMPS, some in conjunction, and some even add Desferoxamine. The choices go on and on.
We will need to leave the final protocol up to the individual practitioners, as this way we all learn. Someone will improve on all of this in the coming months, but it is clear we do NOT prove anything if you fail to see toxic metals coming out with YOUR standard provocative testing. There are MANY other wonderful ideas from sleeping on magnetic beds to drinking special waters and other things to add to the IV’s.
Thanks for asking.
Sincerely,
Garry F. Gordon, MD,DO,MD(H)
